A quick intro movie explains the player’s fall from grace: an ex-business partner with whom the player was hoping to win a major league professional soccer franchise has double-crossed him or her, embezzling all of their company’s funds (which included the player’s life savings) and blaming the firm’s collapse on the player. The player has gone from former professional soccer legend/renown businessperson to pariah.
Enter Coach Kickers, the players old youth coach. Kickers invites the player to serve as an assistant coach on the player’s former youth club that is based in the small town where the player grew up.
This card will focus on the positive: Coach Kickers, Mayor Ashley Morgan and others could be holding a “welcome party” of sorts with the modest, soon-to-be-renamed town behind them. Assistant Coach Alexis should look slightly skeptical, if she is included, while assistant Coach Steeltoe would be more welcoming.
